We know it's not easy being green, but we're here to try to change that ) Please flair yourself with your foundation match, and enjoy your stay :) Quick Rules:ĭon't be a dick to other people. "Olive" does not refer to a level of lightness/darkness in skintones - it refers to green-tinged undertones in skin. Some users have suggested that we use the hashtags #OMUA and/or #OliveMUA on Instagram to find each other's posts! Feel free to have at it :D PLEASE READ THE WIKI BEFORE YOU GET STARTED. No racism, no -ism of any kind, just behave and we can all just be green together, okay? If possible, in multiple lightings and in different colours of clothing. I feel like Neutralizer is going to be both too yellow and too dark, but swatches I'm finding of Brightener seem like pink paint? (Edit: Found video swatches where once blended the two shades much less yellow and pink but seem to have less coverage?) Should I play it safe and go with Fair and give up on brightening under my eyes? (With how pale I am do I even really need to? I'm sort of new to to the whole contouring and highlighting craze.) Or will brightener blend out and be better? Unfortunately, I live in a rural area and swatching is impossible and returns are a hassle, so I have to shop very carefully online.Suspect you might be olive? Ask in our monthly megathread! Clear pics of decent quality please. However, I'm unsure which color to go for? The range seems the same, with the exception of two colors, Neutralizer and Brightener, which seem to just be color corrective alternatives. I'm also not the biggest fan of the formula and want to give the Age Rewind a try, as it's highly praised as well. My issue, however, is that 10 is nearly an exact match to my skin and foundation (meaning I get no real brightening effect) while 05 is way too yellow. To go with it I bought the two lightest Fit Me concealer shades, 05 Ivory and 10 Fair. So, I finally found my drugstore holy grail after years of looking like a pale oompa loompa.
